JDA, together with Dubai architects A2Z, have designed a residential tower for 60 affordable flats in Al Nahda district of Dubai close to the international airport. The area is all G+12 buildings offering accommodation for key workers and professionals. The building is a potential blue print for a number of similar towers on adjacent sites.

Build cost is an important factor and the simple design uses low cost coloured render panels and fibre reinforced concrete to abstract the elevations. The contractors are soon to be appointed and work will then start on site.
